endle Hill and the Religious Education Committee of Friends General Conference are cosponsoring a Religious Education Weekend April 6 to 8 at Pendle Hill in Wallingford, Pennsylvania. The name of the conference is "Preparing the Way: Writing, Developing, and Using Quaker Curricula," and it will be co-led by Marsha Holliday and Robin Wells. Through presentations, small and large group activities, games and game creation, journaling, and worship sharing, participants will explore an approach to curriculum that is thoughtful, prayerful, and playful. Marsha, mother of two adult Quaker daughters, has served both Baltimore Yearly Meeting and Friends General Conference as a religious education professional. She will share how to evaluate, write, administer, and use curricula. Robin, mother of two active young boys, is First Day School Coordinator for Asheville Monthly Meeting in North Carolina. She will share how to create games that support FDS curriculum. Come and experience the joy of preparing the way for First Day School! For more information contact Michael Gibson, FGC Religious Education Coordinator, at (215) 561-1700 or michaelg@fgcquaker.org.
