Information services librarian
Philadelphia Yearly Meeting

PYM is seeking a full-time person whose primary responsibility will be to respond to requests for PYM Library resources by phone, e-mail, in person or in writing. The successful applicant will maintain a library-use database, shelve materials, keep the library in good order, check-in returned materials, and send overdue notices. Facility with Follett library software and Microsoft Word is highly desirable, as is cordiality and helpfulness to patrons, visitors, and colleagues. High school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with the tenets of the Religious Society of Friends is highly desirable; experience in library work and a degree in Library Science will be helpful. Starting salary range is $20-23,000. Plant manager
Newtown Friends School

Newtown Friends School, a Quaker elementary school located in Newtown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, has an opening for a Plant Manager. Responsibilities include repair and maintenance of property and equipment, groundskeeping, purchasing and inventory control, and some janitorial work.

Ideal candidate must be able to interact with all members of school community and outside vendors/contractors. Successful applicant must pass criminal and child abuse background checks by state of Pennsylvania. First-day School teacher
Buckingham Meeting

Buckingham Meeting needs an experienced teacher with possible "special needs" training and a Quaker background to teach a kindergarten to sixth grade group in First-day School. The class session runs 45 minutes, and averages five children. Curriculum planning and lesson plans will be the teacher's responsibility, though supervised by First-day School Committee. $50 per class session.
