he fall gathering on Worship, Ministry, and Eldering will be Saturday, September 23, at Abington Meeting (PA) from 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. This gathering is open to all Friends who feel called to ministry, eldering, or the spiritual nurture of individuals or their Meeting.
For several years Friends have been coming together three times a year at different meetinghouses to share extended worship and to meet with others who wish to deepen their capacity to respond to God's call. During a morning of extended worship, we are learning to listen more deeply to God. In the afternoon, we explore together whatever topic or theme the Spirit seems to be calling forth from our gathered group.
Please bring a bag lunch. There is no fee, but donations are welcome to help cover our costs. Child care will be provided with one week's notice. Abington Meeting is a 520 Meetinghouse Road in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania.
