he Education Standing Committee announces the following opportunities for volunteer service within Philadelphia Yearly Meeting. For more information, contact the person shown in the righthand column.

Religious Education Concerns Group	Provides spiritual support and clearness and coordinates the activities of four working groups, staff, and other religious education concerns.	Staff: Marty Smith martys@pym.org 215-241-7008
Middle School Friends Working Group	Evaluates gatherings and does long-range planning. Themes (content) of events are chosen, and our mission and priorities are regularly reviewed.	Staff: Melanie Douty melanied@pym.org 215-241-7171
Young Friends Working Group	Includes Young Friends and adults; plans, evaluates, sets policy and provides Friendly Presences at Young Friends gatherings (high school age).	Staff: Cookie Caldwell cookiec@pym.org 215-241-7222
Curriculum Working Group	Creates and publishes curricula for First-day schools and publicizes those resources for teachers.	Staff: Marty Smith martys@pym.org 215-241-7008
