riscilla Lippincott Adams' good work has done much to help us toward the day when conscientious objectors to war will be free to pay taxes in good conscience, knowing their money won't go for war. [March/April 2000 PYM News].
I'm very grateful to Priscilla and to Peter Goldberger and to PYM's War Tax Concerns/Support Group and other staff for their pioneering efforts. Priscilla has won, I think, by taking her case all the way to the Supreme Court. We are one step further along now in the struggle to obtain legal protection for conscientious objection to war taxes.
Our government's militarism saddens me, but Priscilla and other Friends and good people of many other faiths are working for constructive changes. I hope and believe that we shall overcome someday!
