YM Director of Finance Marilyn Trueblood of Gwynedd Meeting (PA) has decided to leave her position some time this fall, probably in early October.
Marilyn has given long and extraordinary service to Philadelphia Yearly Meeting, toiling in the often very difficult vineyard of finance and administration here since 1993. That would be a long tenure in any context, and it is especially remarkable given the many challenges and transitions she has helped this organization navigate in that time. Her substantial gifts and amazing dedication to the welfare and mission of this organization are something for which I and many other Friends are profoundly grateful.
Marilyn feels this is the right time to move on for a variety of reasons, and is looking forward to pursuing other opportunities. She has graciously given us this long notice to allow us to secure the best possible replacement and to make the smoothest transition. Marilyn will go forward with our gratitude and affection.
