his year's Yearly Meeting budget will not be balanced until the Annual Fund's goal of $425,000 has been raised. So far Friends have contributed $269,364, or 63% of our goal; and we have until June 30 (the end of PYM's fiscal year 1999-2000) to raise the remaining $155,636. (Last year at this time, Friends had raised $294,030, or 69% of the $425,000 goal.)
We offer our sincere thanks to those Friends who have shown their support for PYM by contributing to the Annual Fund in this fiscal year. It is the hope of the Development Services Group that those Friends who have not contributed to our Yearly Meeting's Annual Fund since July 1, 1999, will do so before June 30. Our extended faith community needs the assistance of all of its members and attenders to continue to provide the many services that support our Monthly Meetings and members.
Every household should be receiving a letter this May describing some of the very encouraging things we see happening around our Yearly Meeting this year, and inviting your gifts to help PYM continue to support these good works and events. We need your help, and appreciate your generosity! The Annual Fund representative in your Monthly Meeting will be pleased to answer any questions you may have about the Annual Fund.
