he Friends Workcamp Program will be hosting a
two-week "international workcamp" in Philadelphia this summer, August 6-20.
Friends 18 and older are invited to attend! We will welcome six to eight
volunteers from outside the United States, four from Philadelphia Yearly
Meeting, and two from West Philadelphia. The cost is $100 for two weeks;
scholarship assistance is available. Participants will have the opportunity to
work and make friends with people from other countries and with people "from
around the corner." We will do housing renovations, visit cultural sites around
Philadelphia, talk, have fun and so on. If you'd be interested in participating
