t Yearly Meeting sessions look for a newly revised questionnaire to identify your skills and interests as they pertain to service in our Monthly and Quarterly Meetings, and in our Yearly Meeting.
The PYM Nominating Committee is now promoting the Talents and Interests Database, previously called the Skills Bank. More than 450 surveys were completed in the past two years and that source of information has been used successfully by Nominating Committee, Standing Committees and the working groups of PYM. Now, with a few changes in the survey and a wider focus, we feel it has the potential to be a wonderful resource not only to PYM committees but also to Monthly and Quarterly Meeting Nominating Committees and Regional Staff. The Talents and Interests Database will help by revealing your gifts and your availability for service to all those who are looking for volunteers across the Yearly Meeting.
So please fill out the questionnaire when you are at Yearly Meeting sessions or when someone in your Meeting asks you to fill it out. It will help all of us continue to serve our Quaker community and keep it growing.
