riends with an interest in outreach are invited to learn about projects that Meetings have undertaken with grants from the PYM Membership Development Support Fund at the "Out from under a bushel! Sharing our Good News" conference Saturday, April 1, at the Fourth and Arch Street Meeting House in Philadelphia. The program, which begins with registration and refreshments at 9:30 a.m., will also help with ideas for how you can start a project at your Meeting with help from the fund.
Opening remarks by Thomas Jeavons, General Secretary of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting, will be followed by success stories from recipients of grants from the Membership Development Support Fund. A choice of four workshops Use of 20th century media, Websites21st century media, Joining in outreach with neighboring meetings, and Nuts and bolts of planning events will be offered before and after the brown bag lunch.
In addition, all participants will have the opportunity to take a guided walk through the Membership Development Support Fund application form before lunch. The day will be a celebration of the successes of recipients of grant money from the fund and an opportunity for others to explore new ideas about "Sharing our Good News."
The conference will wrap up with worship by 2:30 p.m.
