s of January 1, more than 50 Friends organizations have elected to participate in the new Master Insurance Policy, as provided by GuideOne Insurance Company, through our broker Donald K. Martin & Company.
This is a unique program that enables meetinghouses and schools to purchase broad form Property Coverage and Comprehensive Liability Coverages, including a $10,000,000 Umbrella Limit, which is shared by all members of the group. The premium that members pay is based on their own building and contents value, but all members share a common Blanket Limit in excess of $50,000,000. This avoids any underinsured or co-insurance problems! Important liability coverages such as Sexual Misconduct and Employment Practices, as well as Officers and Directors Liability, are also included.
