- Friends Select School gives financial aid priority to applicants whose families are members of the Religious Society of Friends.
Quaker children who meet the school's admission and academic standards, and whose families quality for financial aid based on the analysis of the Parent's Financial Statement (PFS) can receive a comprehensive financial aid package. Application deadline for financial aid is Feburary 11, 2000. Friends Select is located in the heart of Philadelphia's downtown business and cultural districts just a block away from Friends Center. The school's 500 students in grades pre-kindergarten through 12 benefit because Friends Select uses the city to create interesting and exciting curricular opportunities as part of a rigorous college preparatory school, with generally 100% of each graduating class attending college.
