he PYM Women's Gathering Group is sponsoring a spring gathering April 28-30 at the Burlington Meeting House Conference Center on the theme of "Women and Scriptures."
We will explore how we are affected by some particular stories of women in the Bible. Aware that aspects of the Bible and the way it has been interpreted and used have had oppressive effects, we will seek to discover what there is of value that can guide or inspire us. As at all our women's gatherings, there will be opportunities to express our creativity, to sing, to make afghans together for the homeless, to create community, and to celebrate the ways that women inspire each other and nurture one another's spirituality. Our program leaders will include Helene Pollock, Becky Rutherford, and Annie Blood-Patterson.
