n this page in the last issue, PYM News published General Secretary Thomas Jeavons' June report to Interim Meeting. In it, he described two challenges facing Yearly Meeting and suggested that an Annual Session be devoted to answering the question, "What does God want of us as a people now?"
The report was discussed at Yearly Meeting in July and at Interim Meeting in September. We invited your comments, which are published here. (Some were shortened by the editor.)

Interim Meeting in September named an ad hoc committee to help Clerk Kenneth Sutton guide the response to Thom Jeavons' report. The committee consists of Margaret Szczurek of Frankford Meeting (PA), Elizabeth Gates of Lancaster Meeting (PA), Thomas Swain of Middletown Meeting (Concord Quarter/PA), Dorothy Carroll of Birmingham Meeting (PA), and Flora McKinney of Haddonfield Meeting (NJ).

Letters should be brief, and may be shortened due to space limitations. Comments will be shared with the appropriate Yearly Meeting committee whenever possible.
