Content: This packet has lessons from the last days of Jesus’ life and the events following his death. Including: The Parable of the Friend at Midnight and Wise and Foolish Builders, Miracles of Nature, The Healing Miracles, Palm Sunday and Holy Week, The Resurrection, The Road to Emmaus, and Pentecost.
Age Range: 5-10 years, with activities and questions suggested for specific ages.
Preparation Time: One half to one hour weekly.
Number of Lessons: Seven lessons which could take seven or more weeks. Some lessons are especially appropriate at Easter.
Activities: These include discussion questions, games, creating parables, role plays, collages, cooking, planting, Seder songs, other crafts.
Supplies/Equipment: A Bible to read and a Bible atlas, if possible. Each craft activity has its own list of materials. Many of the books are available at the PYM library.
