This year, every afternoon at Annual Sessions is devoted to Work and Witness programming, to allow plenty of time for Friends to develop your groups, work actively together and communicate your work and witness to members of the Yearly Meeting.
The deadline to submit proposals has passed, but we hope you will join one or more of the Work and Witness Sessions that are planned. Learn more and view the list of Work and Witness Workshops here.
The Interim Sessions Development Committee received a wonderful variety of inspired proposals from Friends who are organizing active work and learning opportunities. These “Work and Witness” sessions are similar to workshops or interest groups, but the time allotted is longer, about 2 hours. The work and witness groups meet on one or more of these afternoons, so that you have plenty of time to really dive into the work! These programs will meet during the afternoons on Thursday, July 28, Friday, July 29 and Saturday, July 30 at Annual Sessions, which is at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA.
One purpose of these programs is to support and develop existing and potential groups, such as Collaboratives and Sprints, and these groups are encouraged to make use of this time at Annual Sessions. Other burgeoning groups and Friends with work and witness to share are also offering programs.
Everyone of all ages is invited to join us at Annual Sessions! Registration opens soon, and general information about Annual Sessions is here!
