Young Adult Friends (YAF) is a community of Quakers, age 18-35ish, throughout the PYM area and beyond. We are at different places on our journeys, and we come together for fellowship, rejuvenation, and to deepen our connection to one another & the Spirit.

The PYM YAF working group holds retreats for YAFs quarterly as well as other events throughout the year. The working group meets monthly, and our joyful meetings are open to any interested YAFs! We aim to support the spiritual vitality and community of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting by creating events specifically for YAFs, as well as strengthening commitment and involvement in our multigenerational community.

Announcing the Young Adult Friends Leadership Institute

The Young Adult Friends (YAF) Leadership Institute is an initiative that seeks to encourage and lift up existing inter-generational learning, leadership and service within the Religious Society of Friends by affirming the gifts and wisdom that Friends of diverse backgrounds have to contribute in the present. The inagural event for YAFs will be held Saturday, November 12 at Friends Center.
