Downingtown's New Website Helps Outreach
 PYM NEWS: Downingtown Friends Meeting (PA) has launched a new website as part of a vigorous outreach campaign. One entrance is for outsiders in an effort to get them interested in seeking more information about the Meeting (without being too aggressive), and a second entrance is for members and attenders.

Willistown Environmental Festival Educational
 PYM NEWS: Willistown Friends Meeting held its fourth and most rewarding Environmental Festival on September 20 on the grounds of the Meetinghouse on Goshen Road in Newtown Square PA. Attendance was estimated at more than 500 people.

PYM NEWS: Friends Foundation for the Aging is the new name for McCutchen Friends Home, which previously operated a residential and skilled nursing facility in North Plainfield, New Jersey, on properties given by the McCutchen family.

PYM NEWS: Frank Lenik of Woodstown Meeting (NJ) saw a display at a 2007 surveyors conference that immediately caught his attention: “Buy a Locator; Save a Life.” Having once been in the Peace Corps, a Quaker who “walks the walk,” he became intrigued with finding a way to buy some of these metal detectors for locating land mines in former war zones.
