Philadelphia Quarterly Meeting Program on Racial Justice
JOURNEY TO RACIAL JUSTICE
The Racial Justice Committee (RJC) of the Germantown Monthly Meeting will present its three and a half year exploration of racial justice with regard to the Society of Friends and in the world. The committee invites Philadelphia Quarter to join and expand its continuing commitment to foster racial justice among Friends and the broader communities of which we are part, by participating in the discussion and engaging in continued dialogue about activities within the Quarter that address these concerns.
Worship with the Monthly Meeting of Friends of Philadelphia is at 10:30AM, followed by a potluck lunch and a brief Meeting for Business by consent agenda. Please join us for all of these activities. For more information about the afternoon program, please contact Ed Nakawatase, clerk of the Racial Justice Committee, at (215) 848-1715 or mailto: jeanmas302@comcast.net.
Germantown Meeting's Declaration on Racial Justice and its minute on racial justice are located in the Resource section of the website.
