Program on Climate, Energy and Pollution

The World Resources lnstitute's Climate Protection Initiative works with leading corporations to promote pathways for stabilizing greenhouse gas concentrations while meeting world energy needs. Jim MacKenzie is author of WRI publications on climate change, sustainable transportation, and energy. There will be two interactive sessions on the ecological, technological and public policy aspects of renewable energy.


The theme of Earth Day 2000 is a call for action on climate change and a transition to energy systems based on renewable sources!
