One Book One Yearly Meeting

onebookEvery year, our whole yearly meeting chooses one book to read together. We choose this tool as one of many for deepening our faith and witness. We also strive to make the book accessible to all generations either in content or in the supporting materials.

The 2017 Book has been selected! It is our Faith & Practice Revision. This is a special year for us, because the revision of our Faith and Practice is being considered for approval and adoption. Our Faith and Practice book is an expression of some of the foundational elements of the Quaker Way for Philadelphia Yearly Meeting. We hope that this year everyone takes a moment to read the proposed Faith and Practice Revision in full. We have included a few basic queries for communities to follow, if they’d like.

This year, we solicited suggestions during our 2016 Annual Sessions, and ultimately chose the Faith & Practice Revision. If you’d like to be involved in the selection of next year’s book, contact Zachary Dutton, information to the right of this page.
