Called Session of Yearly Meeting - February 2012

Clerk Thomas Swain has announced a Called Session of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting to consider our yearly meeting programs and concerns.  Our current financial situation and efforts to better align our expenses with our income in support of Quaker faith and practice will be presented for consideration.  Loving, spiritually grounded discernment and consideration by members is important to this work.   Please join us for worship and discernment on February 11th.

We will consider the yearly meeting’s budget in the context of being in right relationship with each other and with the commonwealth of life and divine guidance.  A relationship is right when it cares for the integrity, the resilience and the beauty of all involved. 

Gathering begins at 9:00 am; the Meeting begins at 9:30 am.  Junior Interim Meeting will be held concurrently with the Called Meeting, and childcare will be available. Parking is available at Arch Street Meeting House (enter from 4th Street).

This Called Session replaces the previously scheduled February Interim Meeting.
