The Henry J. Cadbury Library
of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting
Our library has an extensive collection of 23,000 books,
periodicals, and audio-visual items, for children and
adults, dealing mainly with Quaker theology, history,
biography and social concerns. These materials are used
for spiritual inspiration, research, and in Quaker studies
programs, by monthly meeting groups, teachers and students,
and by Philadelphia Yearly Meeting staff and individual
borrowers.
Our mission is:
* to nurture the spiritual
life of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting members and friends
* to lend materials on
Quakerism and its faith and practice to all interested
people
