Philly Pride Parade and Festival
About This Festival
Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing|139 North 2nd Street Philadelphia, PA
The Philly Pride Parade and Festival is a daylong pride celebration featuring an LGBT Pride Parade through Center City followed by a waterfront festival at Penn’s Landing. Each year, a different parade theme is explored, such as the 1965 Annual Reminders picketing of Independence Hall. Typically, historical events or pickets are reenacted during the parade and festival. The day after the festival, there is a large block party in the fabulous Philadelphia Gayborhood.
