Quaker College Fair
Sat, 03/03/2012 - 12:00pm - 3:00pm
The Quaker College Fair will be held on March 3rd 2012 at Arch Street Meetinghouse (located at 4th and Arch Streets, Philadelphia, PA).
The Fair gives students an opportunity to become familiar with the benefits of higher education in a Quaker context. It also helps families understand the college process, learn about financial aid options, and get a sense of what the college search can be like from the perspective of students who’ve experienced it.
This FREE event gathers admissions representatives from the historically Quaker Colleges. PANELISTS will speak to the college process, college life, and a values-based education.
2012 Panelists are:
- Doug Bennett—Emeritus President of Earlham College
- Sarah Willie-LeBreton—Swarthmore College, Professor of Sociology & Anthropology, and graduate of Haverford College
- Dan Evans—Director of College Counseling at The William Penn Charter School
- Emily Temple— Graduate of Haverford College (class of 2011) and Westtown School
