About the Author:
Douglas Gwyn is a Quaker author and a pastor at First Friends Meeting in Richmond Indiana. Doug has researched and written extensively on early Quakers in 17th-century England. He has taught at the Pendle Hill Quaker Study Center near Philadelphia, and at Woodbrooke in England. Doug has worked with the American Friends Service Committee and has pastored Friends meetings in Indiana and California. He enjoys writing and singing playful songs about Quakers.
About the Book:
Conversation with Christ focuses on the Gospel of John in thirteen conversations in which the history and mystery of Jesus is examined. Each close reading is followed by examples of ways Quakers have grappled with its message and by a guided meditation inviting readers to experience the form Christ takes in our lives.
