Content: Covers Meeting for Worship, Meeting for Business, architecture, Meeting Structure, and the first four Queries: community, equality, harmony and simplicity. Focuses on understanding Quaker beliefs and practices.
Age Range: 11 - 13 years.
Preparation Time: 30 minutes; need advance time to gather supplies.
Number of Lessons: Nine; one each week. Could stretch some lessons into two weeks with service projects.
Activities: Games, songs, arts and crafts, writing and journaling, play acting, discussion, and service projects.
Supplies/Equipment: Books, records or tapes, art and craft supplies, and journaling supplies (pencils and paper), a hymnal or song book, and a Bible.
