Content: A study of Judeo-Christian faiths often encountered in one’s neighborhood. Aspects studied include history, architecture, beliefs, sacraments, practices, and service to the community.

Age Range: 7th –12th grade.

Preparation Time: About 30 minutes for most chapters, slightly more to arrange for optional guest speakers or visits to local houses of worship.

Number of Lessons: There are 14 lessons which could take four or more weeks each. Plan to spend at least a year to complete this curriculum.

Activities: These include discussion questions, games, role playing, art activities, cooking, field trips, singing, and the study of maps, timelines and symbols.

Supplies/Equipment: Standard art supplies for some chapters; a Bible and other religious books are helpful but not necessary. Transportation is needed for field trips.
