Friends in Public Education.
There are hundreds of Quakers in our community who actively serve public education as teachers, support staff, counselors, administrators, board members and parent or community volunteers. PYM supports Friends in public education with the following programs and services:
an annual Gathering of Public School Educators so teachers and parents
can get to know each other and learn together.
additional opportunities for education professionals to gather to discuss
concerns and share ideas.
providing mutual & collaborative support to those who do professional
and/or volunteer work out of concern for Public Education.
