Connecting Race & Climate Justice

Please check out this article from “Why the Climate Movement Must Stand with Ferguson”

“The more complex (and less comfortable) we allow ourselves to be, the more simple things actually become: we are in this together and our fights are connected. We don’t know everything by ourselves, but together we know enough.”

I’m so proud of PYM for making a statement as a body that we are addressing racism, and I look forward to that work we will do as a community. Now I want to see us stand together for climate justice, which is so very interconnected to those same issues. It’s not one or the other! Where are Quakers on justice when it comes to people and the planet?
