Worship and Care Standing Committee

The Charge

We are charged with the oversight of groups responsible for the spiritual (Worship) and temporal (Care) well-being of the Yearly Meeting. Our working and granting groups help Friends and meetings with everything from spiritual ministry to care for the aging.

The Work

• We were led in the Light seven times a year on the third Saturday of the month.
• We reported to the Yearly Meeting at annual sessions.
• We evaluated the work and managed the finances of the groups under our care.
• You may approach any member of the Standing Committee to express interest in the group. You may attend a meeting without joining the Committee to test your interest, but must be appointed by Interim Meeting to join.
• You may ask the PYM Nominating Committee to consider you for Worship and Care.
