The Work

• We offer several discussion series and workshops that draw on Quaker beliefs, testimonies and practices. Trained facilitators help parents integrate principles of human development with the strengths of Quakerism and the parents’ goals for their children. The workshops and discussion series are adapted to meet the needs and interests of the parents and sponsoring organizations.
• The work of our study group provides Meetings with a way of supporting the many new members who come to our Meetings with young children. For schools the discussion series provides a way of introducing parents to Quakerism.

The Opportunity

• Friends can provide opportunities for us to present our discussion series and workshops.
• Friends can help us with editing our material, setting up our web site, and/or producing our literature.
• Friends, with the appropriate background, can become group facilitators. Training is required.
