The BURLINGTON MEETING HOUSE is located at 340 High Street just north of Broad Street in Burlington, NJ, across the Delaware River from Bristol, PA. There is easy access to Burlington from the NJ Turnpike, I-295, the NJ-PA Turnpike connector or via PA Rte 413 over the Burlington-Bristol Bridge.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO BURLINGTON MEETING HOUSE CONFERENCE CENTER

BURLINGTON MEETING HOUSE is located is at 340 High Street just north of Broad St. (see map above) in Burlington, NJ just across the Delaware River from Bristol, PA. The phone number at the Burlington Meeting House is 609-387-3875

To ease arrival and departure from gatherings, we ask that you not drive your car onto the Meeting House property. Parking is available across the street from the Meeting House behind the stores via an alley way. Look for the sign that says “Public Parking.” More parking is available behind the stores just past the Meeting House on the left. Go four buildings past the Meeting House and turn left into Smith’s Lane, an alley way next to the Bank of America (there is a large clock on the corner). The alley will take you into a large parking lot. Half way across the parking lot turn left; park in the section near the large oak tree. We have permission to park here from the Trenton Savings Bank. Only those needing handicapped access should use the Meeting House driveway.

In NJ via I-295 exit 47B or via the NJ Turnpike exit 5 at Mt. Holly: Take route 541 N to Burlington. When you reach Route 130 go straight across onto High Street. Follow High Street until it crosses Broad Street (the street with the train tracks). The Meeting House is at 340 High Street, a red brick building behind a brick wall. It is four buildings north on the left. The distance is 4.3 miles from the NJ Turnpike and about 2.7 miles from I-295.

In NJ via US Route 130 South: proceed south to a fork in the road just past the "Willis Honda" dealership. Rte 130 will bend to the left; continue straight onto what will eventually become Broad Street with train tracks running down the middle (look for a sign to the "Burlington Business District"). At the traffic light turn right onto High Street. The Meeting House is at 340 High Street, a red brick building behind a brick wall. It is four buildings north on the left.

In NJ US Route 130 North becomes two one-way streets as it runs through Burlington City. Turn left onto High Street at the signs to the "Burlington Business District." At the 1st traffic light cross Rte 130 South. At the 3rd traffic light cross Broad Street (the street with the train tracks). The Meeting House is at 340 High Street, a red brick building behind a brick wall. It is four buildings north on the left.

From Pennsylvania Via I-95 North or South take exit 40 (formerly exit 26) "Bristol/413". Turn right onto 413 south. 413 will cross US 13 and pass under a railroad bridge and then immediately make a right turn. Follow 413 over the Burlington-Bristol Bridge (NO TOLL entering NJ $2.00 toll on the way back to Pennsylvania). Just past the toll booths at the traffic circle, go 3/4 of the way around and then make a right turn onto Broad Street. Follow signs to the "Burlington Business District." Train tracks run up the middle of Broad Street. At the 2nd traffic light, turn left onto High Street. The Meeting House is at 340 High Street, four buildings north on the left, a red brick building behind a brick wall. Note: If you are on I-95 or US1 in New Jersey follow the 295 or NJ Turnpike directions. Take the I-295 beltway around the east side of Trenton.

From Pennsylvania via the PA Turnpike. Exit at 6A Florence, NJ. Follow the signs to NJ Route 130 South. Follow Route 130 South about 2 miles south to a fork just past the “Willis Honda” dealership. When Rte 130 bends to the left, continue straight onto what will eventually become Broad Street with train tracks running down the middle. (Look for a sign to the "Burlington Business District"). PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION DIRECTIONS to the Burlington Meeting House Conference Center (609-387-3875)

There are now two ways to get to and from Burlington From Philadelphia, PA via New Jersey Transit buses and via the New River line

Getting to Burlington via the new River Line light rail.

Hours: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Last trains will leave Camden at 8:50 p.m. and Trenton at 9:10 p.m. Trains will run every 15 minutes during peak hours (6 to 9 a.m. and 4 to 7 p.m. weekdays) and every 30 minutes during off-peak hours and weekends.

From Philadelphia this means catching a New Jersey Transit bus to the Walter Rand Transportation Center in Camden then boarding the River Line train. It is cheaper and faster than taking one of the New Jersey Transit buses all the way to Burlington.

From the SEPTA train platforms in the Market East Regional Rail Station (The Gallery Mall) a simple and safe way to catch the New Jersey Transit buses is to exit the train platform up the escalator to the "Section B" waiting area. (This is also where the train tickets are sold and there is an information booth.) Turn to your right as you come off the escalator and walk into the lower level of the mall, turn left and go up the escalator one floor to the street level of the mall. As you come off the escalator continue straight ahead past the next set of escalators toward the 10th Street exit. Just before the 10th Street exit, take the hallway to your right that will take you past the most wonderful soft pretzel shop out onto Market Street.

As you exit the mall, onto Market Street, immediately to your right is a NJ Transit bus shelter where you can wait for your bus. You want any NJ Transit bus that is NOT an Express bus. The bus will take you over the Ben Franklin Bridge to the Walter Rand Transportation Center in Camden. The ride is about 15 minutes. Verify with the driver that the bus stops at the Walter Rand Transportation Center in Camden (express buses skip the transportation center). Ask the driver for a "two zone interstate continuing trip ticket" for the River Line light rail. Be prepared to pay the driver $2.25 in exact change. Keep your ticket! It is your proof that you paid for both the bus and the train.

Buses to the Walter Rand Transportation Center will drop you in various locations inside and outside the Transportation Center. Walk out the front of the bus terminal then cross the street to the PATCO High Speed line station. If the bus dropped you outside, look for the PATCO High Speed line station. In either case walk about 150 feet around the PATCO High Speed line station to the River Line light rail Station.

Board any north bound "Trenton" train. There are two Burlington stations, get off at "Burlington Towne Centre". The trains run every 15 minutes during peak hours and every 30 minutes during off peak hours.

Exit the train at "Burlington Towne Centre" and walk to your left to the traffic light at Broad and High Streets. Cross Broad Street at the traffic light, (train tracks run up the middle of Broad Street). The Meeting House is at 340 High Street, a red brick building behind a brick wall. It is the fourth building from the light, on the left.

From the Trenton NJ train station via the new River Line light rail. This is really easy!

The Trenton Train Station is served by New Jersey Transit Trains, Amtrak Trains & River Line light rail trains, as well as NJT buses. As you come up the stairs or escalator from the train platform to the waiting room level, turn right, walk down the hallway past the ticket counters and the restaurant out the front door. Turn left, walk across the parking area and cross the street to the River Line Platform. Buy a ticket from the vending machine for $1.35 in exact change. Time Stamp your ticket in the Time Stamp machine next to the ticket machine. Keep your ticket! It is your proof that you paid for the train.

Board any train. This is the north end of the line so any train leaving this station is going south through Burlington. There are two Burlington stations, get off at "Burlington Towne Centre". The trains run every 15 minutes during peak hours and every 30 minutes during off peak hours.

Exit the train and walk to your left to the light at Broad and High Streets. Cross Broad Street at the traffic light, (train tracks run up the middle of Broad Street). From Philadelphia, PA by BUS to Burlington, NJ via SEPTA trains and New Jersey Transit buses.

By Bus from Philadelphia, PA with NO TRANSFER to River Line from SEPTA trains and New Jersey Transit buses. New Jersey Transit buses make a loop through Philadelphia. From the SEPTA train platforms in the Market East Regional Rail Station (The Gallery Mall) a simple and safe way to catch the New Jersey Transit buses is to exit the train platform up the escalator to the "Section B" waiting area. As you come off the escalator continue straight ahead past the next set of escalators toward the 10th Street exit. The River Line is a new 34-mile passenger light rail line, which links Trenton with Camden. There is a Burlington City Station about 200 feet from the Burlington Meetinghouse. With 20 station stops serving communities along the Delaware River's Route 130 corridor, the light rail system will connect riders to the larger transportation networks of NJ TRANSIT, Amtrak, PATCO, and SEPTA.

You will need to transfer to or from the River Line at the Walter Rand Transportation Center/PATCO Broadway Station in Camden. From Camden you can change to the PATCO high speed line fare $1.15 or to NJ Transit buses. PATCO stations in Philadelphia are at 8th & Market (2 blocks from the Market east SEPTA Train Station) , Locust St between 9th & 10th Streets, Locust St between 12th & 13th Streets, and Locust St between 15th & 16th Streets.

River Line One-way fare Camden to Burlington: $1.10. + $1.15 PATCO fare to Philadelphia = $2.25

From the Greyhound Bus Station in Philadelphia. Walk out the front of the Bus Station, turn left and walk to the corner. Turn right and walk one block on 10th Street to Market Street. Connections from AMTRAK trains can be made at 30th Street Station in Philadelphia (or at Trenton), via any eastbound SEPTA train two stations to the Market East Train Station: show your AMTRAK ticket for free connection on SEPTA to the Market East Station. From the Philadelphia Airport take the R1 SEPTA train to center city Philadelphia get off at the Market East Train Station. Follow directions above. Go to the SEPTA Regional Rail Schedules , Click on the R1 Airport Schedule .  There are also Metro Rapid Rover  vans from the Airport that will take you directly to Burlington.

From Camden, NJ to Burlington, NJ via New Jersey Transit buses. Many New Jersey Transit buses make a stop at the Camden Transportation Center in Camden, NJ. You may transfer from PATCO high-speed line trains and New Jersey Transit buses to a "409 Burlington" or "409 Trenton," or any 419 NJT bus. Ask the driver for Broad and High Streets in Burlington. Cross Broad Street at the traffic light, (train tracks run up the middle of Broad Street). The Meeting House is at 340 High Street, a red brick building behind a brick wall. From Trenton, NJ to Burlington, NJ via New Jersey Transit buses. The 409 NJT buses also run south from the Trenton train station (Amtrak & NJT trains from New York, SEPTA trains from Philadelphia) to Burlington. Ask the driver for The First Baptist Church on the corner of Broad and Stacy Streets in Burlington. (Southbound buses will not stop at Broad and High Streets.) From New York City the easiest way via public transportation is to take Academy Bus lines from the New York Port Authority terminal to the Academy Park and Ride NJ Turnpike Exit 5, just outside of Burlington City. Cost: $20.00 one way (9/29/2008). This is about 3 miles from the Burlington Meeting House. There are NJT buses that connect the Park & Ride with the city of Burlington and there are Taxicabs available. If you want us to meet you at the Park and Ride arrange this ahead of time. Service from the New York Port Authority departs from Gate 3. Tickets can be purchased at Port Authority terminal ticket windows 27 & 28. There are 13 buses each day on weekdays. 4 buses return to NY City on Sunday.
